GENERAL INFORMATION
TENERGO Brno a.s. serves as the operator of a heat and power generation system in Bratislava, the Devínská Nová Ves district. The generated heat is delivered to two suburban towns (commuterdoms). Both power resources experienced comprehensive refurbishing in the past, with the installation, among others, of cogeneration (CHP) units of total electrical output of 1972 kW (with 1850 kW from the installed output sold to power distribution utilities; the remaining part of the installed power is used to cover the own consumption needs, not only of the own power generation units but also of all the 51 domestic transmission stations).
