 COMPREHENSIVE ENERGY SERVICES

Our company is involved in the operation of heat management centres of towns, town districts and communities, i.e. the deliveries of heat and DHW. Moreover, we take part in the provision of financial resources for funding the projects that make it possible for the client to refurbish and thereafter to efficiently operate its power generation systems, without encumbering the budget of the town with additional expenses. Our long-term activity always brings about a stabilization in the supplier-customer relations, while offering heat to the consumers at reasonable price. Moreover, we provide comprehensive power generation services to our business partners by ensuring the necessary maintenance, operation and implementation services, and also the management of appartments, premises and buildings.

 


  PROJECT FUNDING

We provide for project funding.

Project funding, in particular, is of use at the area of municipal power engineering, more specifically during the operation of heat management systems of the towns, town districts and communities.
 
The project funding focuses the following areas:

  • Saving of expenses on energy (optimization of purchasing conditions for energy, minimization of wages and overhead costs, followed by refurbishing of heating stations.
  • Safeguarding of power supply by one single partner (TENERGO Brno, a.s.).
  • Site development of new power energy sources and systems (feasibility study, draw up of all stages of design documents, comprehensive delivery of the work, funding, operation and service).

 


 STANDARDIZED PROCEDURES IN THE PROJECT FUNDING

Each new project starts with the so called indicative offer, which includes: 
  • analysis of current conditions of the power engineering, and proposal on measures to be adopted (description of the power supply system and calculation of costs on energy, proposal of an optimum solution, specification of potential for savings)
  • draft of a suitable funding model (repayment from savings achieved, possibilities of drawdown of subsidies/grants etc.)
  • mandatory outputs (energy cost savings, warranted energy prices)
The indicative offer serves as a decision-making tool for the client when taking decision on the possibility of further co-operation. When the implementation of the project is agreed between the parties, the partners conclude a series of other contracts that include also the warranted prices for energies and warrantees regarding the engineering state of the implemented project.
 
The basic tenet offered by TENERGO a.s. can be summarized as follows: to ensure long-term operation of the heat management systems of town (town districts or communities) on the basis of long-term rental contracts for the lease of boiler houses and the respective grounds, and contracts for the offtake of heat and domestic hot water (DHW). We provide the town (town district or community) a contractual guarantee to carry out step-by-step modernization of their heat management system while keeping to stabilized and long-standing price for the heat supplied and, at the same time, remitting the rental costs which the town (town district or community) can use elsewhere.

 


 TARGETS AND CONCEPTS

Our concept of heat management operation addresses primarily the minimization of annual costs for heating of residential and non-residential buildings and premises. In doing this the property rights of the owner, the community budget nor the town property are affected in any way whatsoever. This practically proven concept is based on the following main targets:

  • Achievement of highest possible level of efficiency of the technology installed.
  • Achievement of highest possible reduction of operation and overhead costs
  • Inclusion of own financial resources without posing any further claim on financial or property guarantees from the part of the town or other entity involved
  • Guaranteed prices for heat during the whole duration of the project
  • The utilization of conditions stipulated by the newly amended Power Energy Law

The whole undertaking results in the modernization of the system´s operation while maintaining the same or even lower heat prices.

▼ Ad a) Highest possible level of efficiencty of the heating system installed.

The basic precondition for the achievement of peak-level efficiency of a system is using up-to-date engineering solution and the best heating station´s technologies.

▼ Ad b) Reduction of operation and overhead costs.

The main share of operation costs are the purchase costs for fuel or the natural gas. The use of latest heating station´s technologies provides also for significant reduction of operation and overhead costs. One of such savings consists in the use of frequency controlled pumps (reduction of costs for own consumption of electric power), and the use of automatic systems installed in the central control room (this option makes it possible to reduce the number of permanent staff to only a necessary minimum). One of relevant factors is also the reduction of management personnel (negotiations with the corresponding state authorities; accounting tasks, ...), since these activities are carried from a central office at the level of TENERGO Brno,a.s..

▼ Ad c) Own financial resources.

The comprehensive provision of power supply to a community or municipality, as it is understood by TENERGO Brno, a.s., does include also funding of necessary investments. These means are ensured by TENERGO Brno from the company´s own resources, without involvement other financial guarantees from the part of the customer or impledging his property. Owing to the well developed financial and economic situation and the stability of TENERGO Brno the company has access to funding means at very favourable interest conditions and with a long payback period. The selection of proper manner of the financing depends always on the individual assessment of the particular project. Commonly, TENERGO Brno, a.s. uses the following modes of funding:

  •  OWN TRADING CAPITAL
  •  LEASING
  •  CREDIT

Thanks to conditions adopted for the implementation of engineering solutions in power energy systems we have the opportunity to use the best available heating plant technology and, thereby, to achieve the highest level of economical parameters and the total efficiency of the system. Credits are paid back using savings potentials achieved through the implementation of up-to-date technologies and through the introduction of progressive measures in the plant´s operation. 
In terms of investment level there are no limitations for our company. The only criterion is the highest potential of savings to be achieved (= savings in fuel costs + operation and overhead costs) while maintaining and guaranteeing the heat prices for a long time for the final consumer.
